(Igor Lesanovsky)

The role of Igor Lesanovsky together with a theory postdoc at Nottingham is to provide theoretical support for the experiments conducted at Nottingham (adiabatic RF traps on atom chips) and at Heraklion (TAAP traps). This encompasses the calculation and optimisation of radio-frequency dressed potentials that are used to create the matter wave interferometer. He will moreover strongly collaborate with A. Trobettoni at CNR-IOM on the numerical simulation of and characterization of interferometry and rotation detection schemes based on (interacting) Bose degenerate atom.
